Rules
Hi there, my name is Kelly, and I am the owner and creator of this website! This page will explain how you go about playing Equisis!
Equisis is a world where you can own, breed, show, and sell your own sim-horses! And yes, you get to have your very own island in this game! To begin, simply fill out the sign-up info and your island will be created! From there, you begin with your very own island, and a sum of 50,000 Seashells or (SS)50,000. Seashells are the currency in this game!
You may then want to purchase a horse, and you may do so either from Equisis City, or you may find horses up for sale on the Notice Board. Also, once in a while you may actually come across a wild horse over on the Untouched Islands. Horses from that part of Equisis will be yours for free if you are able to find one! But I must warn you, the wild horses of Equisis are very, very good at hiding!!! (As of right now, the Islands are not up and running, but they should be working in the next couple months!)
There are a great many more things to discover on Equisis Island, and I wont spoil them for you! However, I may suggest that you explore a bit, because that is usually the best way to learn your way around!
Below is a more detailed list of the way the game works!
Equisis is a new online horse simulation game. It does not involve real horses, money, or islands! They are all part of the game! Secondly, all of the graphics on this site are drawn by myself, and are therefore copywritten to me! Never use/alter graphics from an artist without thier permission!
Seashells are the currency of Equisis. They are written as (SS). You begin with (SS)50,000. Your salary is (SS)5,000, which you will recieve each week. For now, you can earn Seashells by selling your horses, putting stallions up for stud, and offering services such as layouts or tags. Because Equisis is brand new, there will be many new features added on in the coming months, including many more ways to earn Seashells!
1 game week = 1 horse year
So, a horses age increases by 1 year, every seven days.
0 Weeks = Newborn Colt/Filly (Cannot Show or Breed)
1 Week = Yearling Colt/Filly (CAN Show, Cannot Breed)
2 Weeks = Young Stallion/Mare (CAN Show, CAN Breed)
4 Weeks = Adult Stallion/Mare (CAN Show)
8 Weeks = Aged Stallion/Mare (CAN Show)
12 Weeks = Retired Stallion/Mare (Cannot Show or Breed)
Mares cannot breed for 7 days (1 year) after they have had a foal.
If the Mare (dam) and Stallion (sire) have the same amount of points in a certain ability, (Example: Both have a 4 in Strength) then the foal will have:
50% Chance of inheriting the father or mothers stat (4)
50% Chance of getting +1 point in the Ability (5)
If the Mare (dam) and Stallion (sire) have a different amount of points in a certain ability, (Example: Sire has 2 in Strength, and Dam has 6 in Strength) then the foal will have:
25% Chance of inheriting the fathers stat (2)
25% Chance of inheriting the mothers stat (6)
50% Chance of getting the average of the parents stats (4)
(stats are always rounded up, so if the average was 3.5, the foal would get a 4)
The maximum stat points a horse can have in any ability is 10.
There are 7 possible Show Competitions that a horse may enter. In order to enter a show, a horse must have a Strength Icon in that catagory.
What is a strength icon?
Well, each competition requires two different abilities to have a combined total of at least 10.
Here is a list of which two abilities every show favors:
Racing
Speed/Confidence
Pulling
Power/Willingness
Jumping
Agility/Stamina
Endurance
Stamina/Energy
Dressage
Grace/Patience
Cutting
Reflexes/Coordination
Barrel Racing
Coordination/Instinct
If a horse has a 5 in Coordination, and a 7 in Instinct, he would have a Strength Icon in Barrel Racing, because the combined total of the two is more than 10!
There are over 30 different possible Coat Colors that can be produced by breeding your horses! There are 5 different levels of rarity.

As you discover new coat colors, they will be listed on your home page!
